Collagen stimulation

Microneedling is a treatment in which a special system of fine micro-perforating needles delivers revitalising solutions enriched with hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids and active molecular pigments deep into the dermis.
Types of microneedling
Three protocols with one goal: dense, renewed skin. The fine needles create controlled micro-channels that activate the natural synthesis of collagen and elastin. The protocol is chosen after a diagnosis, based on the area and the skin’s current condition.
Microneedling for face and body
For acne scars, pigmentation, fine lines and stretch marks. A revitalising cocktail of hyaluronic acid, vitamins and amino acids is delivered deep into the dermis to stimulate skin renewal.
EYECON eye-area microneedling with exosomes
A specialised protocol for the delicate skin around the eyes: upper and lower eyelids, fine lines and dark circles. Mesoestetic exosomes accelerate regeneration and restore skin density.
Vivace RF radiofrequency microneedling
Microneedling combined with radiofrequency energy that heats the deep layers of the skin and activates fibroblasts. For tightening and lifting, smoothing wrinkles and scars, and refining pores. The treatment is performed by a doctor.
What
microneedling is used for
Acne scars, post-surgical and post-traumatic scars
Treatment of dark spots on the skin
Fine lines around the eyes and lips, and tightening of loose skin
Treatment of stretch marks on the body
The treatment has a revitalising effect, tightens the skin and fades scars through natural stimulation of collagen, elastin and growth peptide synthesis.
Microneedling is characterised by:
Suitability for all phototypes
Minimal invasiveness
Clients describe the treatment as quick and painless
A long-lasting effect
Is microneedling painful?
Before the treatment begins, the specialist applies a special numbing cream to the face. It is antiseptic and numbs the areas it is applied to.
The therapy takes about 30–60 minutes on average. After microneedling, a soothing serum is applied to the treated areas.
With numbing cream the treatment is painless, has minimal downtime and carries no risk when everything is sterile. It is performed with a pen-like device that makes many micro-punctures on the skin’s surface, creating tiny channels. The treatment cocktail – hyaluronic acid, amino acids and vitamins chosen for the specific treatment – enters through these channels. These actives support skin regeneration.
Clients feel no discomfort during microneedling.
Benefits
of microneedling
During microneedling, old collagen fibres break down and new ones are built. As they push the old ones towards the surface, the skin becomes visibly smoother. Ideally, the skin is deep-cleansed with HydraFacial or a peel before starting the treatment.
An ideal method of rejuvenation
No side effects or complications
Fast, long-lasting results
The skin’s collagen content increases many times over
Minimal invasiveness
No pain
Suitable for all skin phototypes
Active ingredients work in all layers of the skin
Different sterile, single-use tips are used, chosen for the concern and the area.
They have a special protective surface that guards the skin against infection. Their many fine needles create micro-channels through which the active ingredients are delivered during the treatment.
Who should avoid
the treatment?
How many treatments
are needed?
The number of therapies depends on the effect you want to achieve and the type of skin concern you want to address. There is a visible improvement after the very first treatment, but optimal results come after a course of four to six visits.
At DERMA Aesthetic we follow a protocol of 4 treatments, one week apart. Two courses a year are possible, in spring and autumn, of 4–6 treatments each.
This stimulates collagen production over the long term and fully renews the dermis. After the course you can have one maintenance therapy a year. This way you keep your excellent results for a long time, and your skin stays fresh and rejuvenated.
Is there
downtime?
Unlike cosmetic surgery, there are no serious negative symptoms or side effects after the treatment, but be prepared for the skin to be redder, slightly swollen and more sensitive for the first day or two after microneedling. If your complexion is very fair, don’t worry if the redness lasts a few days.
Caring for your face after the treatment is very important. Keep your face clean and avoid make-up for 2–3 days afterwards. Moisturise with suitable care. DERMA Aesthetic specialists will advise you on the right aftercare.
It is especially important to use products with a high UV factor when you go out in the sun; otherwise there is a risk of pigmentation spots.
